I think it’s safe to announce that Autumn has officially arrived. With Autumn comes a smorgasbord of parties and events for every color of the rainbow. You could head down to Ashland for Southern Oregon Pride, or catch Ms. Margaret Cho in one of her four performances this weekend. In Other Words celebrates its 19th birthday, the Imperial Sovereign Rose Court crowns a new court (with many festivities sandwiching Coronation 2012) and BRO throws their big yearly bash, IGNITE, to raise money for marriage equality in Oregon.
And then, of course, there’s the dancing. PQ kicks off the weekend with party newcomer, GREED, a bi/pan/genderqueer dance night, head-to-head with local favorite BENT. Saturday brings INFERNO for the ladies, ATLAS for the Bollywood-at-heart, MRS. for those of us who like to play dress-up, and WOWWOLF for the party animal in all of us.
I think it’s safe to say there’s a little bit of something for everyone.
